Surreal Composite

Free in Spirit

My first attempt at a surreal composite using photoshop, editing the background out of the dog in the kennel from my local shelter and adding it to another picture I took in Colorado. I used a dispersion technique to make it look like the bars are disintegrating and fading away.

Also changed the hue and saturation in both photos so the piece would have a analogous color scheme.

This is my first attempt at making a one-point perspective animation using photoshop. I kept the most of the colors simple and nearly monochromatic to draw more attention to the brilliant northern lights in the background.
